BioSense™ Watch, BioSense health band, and BioSense Ring are all able to capture blood pressure and, using proprietary algorithms, interpret and report the data. Measuring your blood pressure couldn’t be easier!
As long as you regularly calibrate your device (we recommend calibrating every four weeks), you can expect accurate measurements of this critical vital sign. If you find your blood pressure is high, you can consult with your medical care professional to find ways to address it.
How can your Vyvo Technology wearable help with high cholesterol? The APG measurement (which refers to how the measurement is captured, acceleration photoplethysmography) is an estimate of vascular age. High cholesterol contributes to atherosclerosis, which is a chronic inflammatory condition identified by a buildup of plaques in arteries. This leads to a narrowing of the artery, which causes arterial stiffness.
APG can measure arterial stiffness, which leads to an estimate of cardiovascular aging. Should the APG feature return a measurement that shows you have elevated vascular risk, you can focus on lifestyle changes that will help you get back on track. And don’t neglect the input and advice of a medical care professional.
The BIA feature of the BioSense Watch and BioSense health band gives you elevated awareness of your body composition — far more useful information than just your weight as reported by a scale.
By itself, your weight number doesn’t account for muscle and fat. Increasing muscle mass will increase your weight (because it’s denser than fat), but it will also improve your metabolism and, of course, overall health. In other words, a focused exercise program that includes weight training could increase your baseline weight. Without the insights BIA provides, that could be discouraging. With BIA, you can see where you’re making progress and where you can still improve.
While your Vyvo Technology wearable is much more than just a fitness tracker, it is in fact a very useful and versatile fitness tracker when you need it to be.
Use your device every time you engage in physical activity to track all of your workouts. Activity is one component of the Health Index reported in the Vyvo Smart App, so regular exercise will help to improve this score. More importantly, of course, regular exercise helps to improve your health!
Our busy, constantly connected lives include plenty of reasons to be stressed. Good thing your Vyvo Technology wearable will automatically capture data and report a stress score every hour, or you can initiate an on-demand measurement at any time. When you see high levels of stress, you can use best practice techniques to manage stress and improve your mental health — and protect your heart health.
These disturbances are more than just interruptions; they can have significant negative impacts on your health. Disturbances are characterized by loud snoring, periods of not breathing, gasping for air during sleep, waking with a dry mouth, morning headaches, excessive daytime fatigue, and more. All of that strains your heart and increases your risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, and more.
Your Vyvo Technology wearable tracks your sleep every night, including REM sleep and sleep disturbances. Gain a deeper awareness of both and use the app's tips to know how to improve in these areas.
